At the end of May we traveled back East to visit our families. First we headed to Tennessee to visit Dan's aunt and uncle, and we also met up with Dan's brother Ben and his wife Lisa.
Ben and Lisa made it possible for us to stay at this lovely place. There was plenty of space for all of us - a washer, dryer, even a dishwasher. Everything we needed! And just behind the house was a beautiful little spot that the kids enjoyed exploring. Thank you so much Ben and Lisa!
Dan's aunt and uncle took us out for dinner at this beautiful place in the mountains of Tennessee. There were a bunch of geese there enjoying the water, and the kids had a lot of fun observing them...
Joshua was quite brave and wanted to get as close to the geese as he could.... the one with babies was not too fond of his coming near. He finally managed to touch one on the back and when I asked him what it felt like, his response was, "It felt like a plump rock!" :)
We got to spend a lot of time with Ben and Lisa too! Sweet memories!
We so enjoyed the time we got to spend with Dan's Uncle Joe and Aunt Karen.
