First Day of School!

It's hard to believe that our little Hannah is starting kindergarten this year. We decided to start on the same day that Dan started back to school, so this Monday was Hannah's first day of school. She was SO excited to start and has been enjoying it alot! Sarah tags along and does some things with us, and Daniel's been doing a great job of playing (or napping!) while we do school!

Early Birthday Gift!

Sarah's birthday isn't till November, but she was rapidly outgrowing her tricycle, so we decided to get her an early birthday gift. Plus, it will give her some time to enjoy it before it gets too cold outside! She is very pleased with her new bike, and she especially likes that it looks like "PopPop's tractor"! 

It was cute to watch the girls riding around, talking as they went! 

A Tea Party

I love watching the girls develop in being creative as they play. A few days ago, Hannah set up a little tea party for all of us. All of us had matching plates, bowls, and tea cups. And we each had a little bowl of fruit, a sandwich, and 2 cookies. It was very sweet. :)

Mama's Little Helper

Yesterday, Hannah and I were cleaning in the kitchen. Hannah was helping me by wiping down the outside of the fridge. Daniel found her rag, and he started wiping too! He's such a little imitator! He tries to do whatever he sees us doing! 

He was very pleased that he was helping too! 

Where, oh where, could Daniel be?

As I was looking through my pictures of Daniel that I've taken recently, I noticed that I have a bunch of him sitting in funny places. He's getting all around these days, starting to climb and get into lots and lots!  I put him in the wash basket when I was carrying it in from outside, but Daniel got into all the other places by himself! :)

Mike, Jess, and little Michael

A few weeks ago, Dan's brother Mike, his wife Jess, and their new baby Michael, came up from Nevada to visit us for a week. It was good to see them. We were especially glad to get to know Jess, as we had never really gotten to spend time with her before. And it was really special to get to meet baby Michael, who was only 7 weeks old when they came up!
