Going to the hospital (by Hannah)

On Wednesday, I banged my head against the coffee table very hard.  Mommy got a rag for the blood, and then she called the doctor and daddy.  Daddy took me to the hospital.  I had to get 4 stitches.  I was the first child in our family to get stitches.

My project...

Our kitchen chairs were in desperate need of being recovered.

(Before)

(After!)

I was really happy with how they turned out!

I'm planning to use this for curtains...

And I think I'll use this for redoing our sofa.
It seems like a huge project to tackle, but I think I will take it on.

Lots of Baby Pictures :)

Little Joshua's such a happy baby these days. Smiling, cooing, watching his brother and sisters.....

Some school projects....

We had a lot of fun making a relief map of Israel and the surrounding countries.
Egyptian butter cookies

Another day we made an Egyptian meal of flatbread, falafel
cakes, green beans with tomato sauce and Egyptian butter cookies.
We had alot of fun doing it, and enjoyed the meal too!

A Fun Day!

On the day after Christmas, we went to Dawson and Alicia's house for the day.  The kids decorated gingerbread houses and had a great time playing together. Dawson and Alicia's kids (Diek, Hadden, Josef, and Evie) are all close in age to our kids, so it's always alot of fun to get together. We went for lunch and ended up staying for supper too!

Dan had fun decorating the extra house. :)

Just some pictures....

One of the favorite winter activities at our house is playing with a big
bowl of barley!
Playing the beetle game that Grammy and Pappy sent for Christmas - they
love it!!

Cute!

Our sweet baby

Some Christmas activities at our house.....

On "shepherd night", we dressed up as shepherds and ate our dinner in our "tent". After supper an angel of the Lord (otherwise known as Daddy) appeared and told us about the newborn baby lying in a manger. The girls always look forward to doing this around Christmas time. :)

Opening Presents.....

And there's the best gift that was under our tree. :)

A few days after Christmas we had wise man night. The girls created some gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and dressed up in fancy clothes for supper.

This time Daddy got to be the camel. :)
