Just some pictures...

Hannah and Sarah decided that since we were going
to be in PA over Father's Day, they were going to get a
Father's Day gift ready for Daddy early.  :)  They gathered
pinecones for him for a whole morning. So sweet!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was such a beautiful day this year! We went to a little creek, about 45 minutes from our house and had a picnic, and then the little ones had fun splashing in the water!

After we came back from the creek, we went to the Ortman's sheep farm. Their sheep are lambing this time of year, so it's fun to go and see all the baby lambs.

Warm Days!!

Since it's gotten warmer, we've been spending as much time as we can outside!

Kittens!

Sarah's cat, Meows, had kittens right on the front porch! The girls and Daniel have had so much fun looking at the tiny kittens and holding them, now that their eyes are open. Hannah's cat, Betty, had kittens too, but she took them away and hid them under our neighbor's trailer!

It's Finally Getting Warmer!

Dan borrowed a small tractor to get our garden ready. The little ones had lots of fun playing in the scoop while it was sitting in the yard!

Daniel was playing dress up with the girls again - he doesn't usually wear skirts. :)

The last remains of the winter snow fort.

Mr. Ortman brought a big load of sheep manure for our garden.

Having Fun with Vegetables!

A few weeks ago we had a unit on vegetables in school.  We painted with vegetable pieces, had a vegetable party (where we ate lots of raw veggies, and of course Dan loved that!) and planted some vegetables too.

Still snowing.......

Our Little Man

This is what happens when your little boy wants to play
dress up with his older sisters, but you don't have any
boy "dress-up" clothing yet!

Don't worry though, Daniel is a little boy through and through!
He loves anything with wheels, he loves playing in the dirt, and
he loves to wear his "PopPop hat". We told him that he looks
like PopPop when he wears his little John Deere hat, so now
he calls it "PopPop hat".

Easter

All of the little ones really enjoyed dying eggs this year.  Even Daniel loved it and did a good job!
