Making Cookies

A few days ago, we had alot of fun making spritz cookies. Even though they were gluten free, they turned out really well!  The girls had so much fun decorating them with icing. I don't think I had ever let them squeeze icing onto cookies on their own before, and they LOVED it!

Daniel was surprisingly good about not touching the cookies,
even though he really wanted too!

I came up with a handy way to keep the icing from squeezing out the
tops of the tubes while the girls were using them!

The little buddy LOVES cookies - it's his new favorite word - "Cook-cook"

Valentine's Day

Daniel was so happy that he got a little Valentine note like the girls.
He even tried reading it to himself. :)

I made crocheted hats for the girls' dolls.

Daniel opened up his heart, and before he even ate any
candy, he said "Mmmmm......it good!"

Playing Outside

The girls have loved playing in all the snow drifts and piles around our house.
On this particular day, they were "Joshua and the Battle of Jericho" and
shouting to make the walls fall down!

It took most of the winter, but Daniel finally likes being outside
in the snow and walking around.

Just some pictures...

Having fun wearing new headbands/ear-warmers!

Sarah's great big lego city

Playing dress up!

Daniel loves books!
Me and my little buddy :)

Hannah reading to Sarah and Daniel

Mashing up beans!

Daniel thought it would be fun to try out the girls'
dress up scarf!  Dan thought it looked a little too girly for
his little man. :)

Cute kitty hats from MomMom

This is just a funny picture - our cat (the less black one) and a stray were just
sitting outside, and ice fog just kept building up on them.  They looked hilarious!

School

Well, it's been quite a long time since I posted any pictures. We've been enjoying school alot, and here are some things we've been doing lately.....
We made a giant bug and learned the parts of an insect when we were
studying about insects.

Elephant Masks :)

Penguin Balloons

Making a model volcano

When we studied jewels, the girls made crowns to wear. Little Buddy wanted
one too!

And this week, we're studying butterflies. We made a giant
one, and the long skinny balloons that Grammy sent made a
perfect body!
