Opposites :)

I love how "opposite" our girls are. Hannah is generally cautious, neat, organized, and serious. Sarah, on the other hand, is a risk-taker, is quite silly, and doesn't mind getting dirty. It's fun to see how different God made them - we love them both just the way they are! We have been having beautiful spring weather here in Montana - the snow is melting, the sun is shining, and we are very much enjoying being outside.  On this particular day, Hannah and Sarah decided to take their babies outside.

The garden was so muddy and soft that even Dan didn't want to walk in it. So, he came up with a creative way of rescuing Sarah's doll and stroller. :)

Making Verenika!

Saturday was our church's annual verenika-making day. Every year, the high school holds a big fundraising event called Schmeckfest.  There's a dinner and items that are auctioned off, bake sale, etc. One of the foods that is served is verenika. It's kind of like ravioli - noodle dough with cheese inside.  So, every year, a few weeks before Schmeckfest, the ladies from our church get together and make nearly a thousand verenika!  Hannah, Sarah and I went over to help for awhile.  It was a fun morning!

Our Snow Fort

Well, last year, we had a really big snow fort, and this year, we just barely had enough snow to make a very small snow fort. Dan went out and built it with the girls a few days ago, and it's actually so warm here today, that it's melting already!  What a mild winter! Hannah has been asking for a snow fort and she was very happy that there was finally enough snow for her Daddy to make one!

Painting in the Bathtub!

A couple of days ago, we made "paint" for the tub with shaving cream and food coloring. The girls thought it was great!  Now, every time we get baths, Sarah wants to know if we can paint again!
