Apples!

The last few years, someone who has apple trees has let us pick their extra apples. They had lots this year, too, so we got to pick apples one evening this week. The girls were so excited about it!

Hannah said it was the best apple picking day ever,
because she got to climb up in the tree and pick apples!

Now, these are actually recent pictures, from just this past Sunday. We were ready for church a little early, so we had fun taking some pictures. 

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Daniel turned 2 on September 5. He's talking a lot now and
is getting to be such a big boy.  Combines, tractors and trucks are some
of his favorite things, so I had fun making him a farm cake! 

After looking at his cake for a few minutes, Daniel started driving the
little truck and tractor across his cake! :)

Daniel was very pleased to get a water bottle like the one his
big sisters have!

We got Daniel a tool set with a drill that really works.
He's had a lot of fun with it!

Walking in the Hay Field

One Sunday evening recently, we took a walk in the hay field behind our house. It was a lovely evening and the girls and Daniel had fun sitting on top of the bales! 

Betty thought it looked like fun too!

Harvest

We got to watch some combines working in the fields near our house. Daniel was especially interested in the big machines!
