No School!

This week off from school has given us the chance to do some projects that we've been wanting to get to!
Sarah enjoyed working on an apron for herself.

Grace wanted to "yarn" with us.  She meant that she wanted to crochet with us. :)

Hannah worked on sewing cloth napkins for us to use. She made 22 of them!

Playing Memory with Dad!

Napkins!

The beginning of a jeans quilt that I'm working on for Joshua.

Sarah's apron - all finished!

More napkins!

Gingerbread Houses

We all had a great time making gingerbread houses together!

Merry Christmas!

We rejoice in God's gift of His Son, sent to earth to walk among us, live a perfect life and redeem us from our sins, through his perfect sacrifice.
Joshua broke his collarbone on Dec. 23rd.  He's doing well with it - he doesn't complain a bit!
Hannah made Daniel a cape!

And she made a set of beanbags for Joshua. :)

Joshua was delighted to get a toolbox from Pappy!

Daniel loves doing woodwork with Dan and has been wanting a set of clamps!

Grace loves her cash register - and so do all her siblings!

All the kids got Snap Circuits and have had fun putting together some electronic projects with Dan.

Christmas Eve

We had a special time as a family, singing carols by candlelight and enjoying some hot chocolate and cookies.

Snow!

After beginning the winter with very little snow, we are enjoying the beautiful white landscape out here!  These pictures are from on our way to town. Just gorgeous!

And this is our backyard - including the nice big ice skating pond that Dan made!
