From the Girls

-We were having devotions tonight, and Daniel got a big handful of Sarah's hair and pulled really hard (by accident of course!) A little later, when Sarah was praying, she prayed,
"Dear God, I pray for Daniel not to cry, and not to pull my hair and not to pull Hannah's hair."

-A few days ago, Hannah was praying at lunchtime - "Dear God, I just pray for the whole food, and please, help me and Sarah to love each other."
Then when she was done praying, she said to me, "I was praying for me and Sarah to love each other, because we're still learning how to. But of course you and Daddy ALWAYS love each other."

-When I was putting Sarah down for her nap, she was telling me the names of all of her animals - "Froggie, Lambie, Trumpet (an elephant) and Plumpers (another elephant)." Then she said, "And I'm God's Princess!"  (She knows that Sarah means "princess")   :)

Just Sweet Little Baby Feet

Ice Skating......in Lustre?!

When we moved from PA, we didn't expect to find many places to ice skate in Lustre, and even if there were, we thought, the winters would be too cold to be able to go. Well, we found a little "pond" right in our front yard down by the trees, and this winter has been cold enough to freeze the water, but not so cold that we can't get outside to enjoy it. So, Dan got out his skates, and we found the little pair of strap-on skates that Aunt Julia got for Hannah a couple years ago, and had some fun! The girls loved it! Little Daniel didn't mind being outside either! 

Enjoying the Snow!

We really haven't had much snow this year, so when it snowed last week, and it was a 

fairly nice day outside, we all went outside to enjoy it! 

 The girls had fun with some icicles....they couldn't understand why we 

had to set them in the sink when they wanted to bring them in the house!

This winter has been SO beautiful and mild
(although I must admit, we miss the snow a little bit!)
