Ice Skating

Dan and the kids have been working hard to get the ice skating pond ready.  

had their first hockey game today - and the kids won!!

Gingerbread Cookies

We had fun making gingerbread cookies together this afternoon.  Having Dan get home just in time to decorate them with us made it twice as nice! 

 

Eiffel Towers

This year we've been enjoying learning about other countries through My Father's World's  course called Exploring Countries and Cultures.  We've enjoyed activities, songs, crafts, and foods from various countries around the world.  This week, we "visited" France, so Sarah and Daniel built some replicas of the Eiffel Tower.

"Warm" December Days

We have been having some beautiful weather this past week!  We've been enjoying the chance to spend some time outside!  Daniel got a BB gun for his birthday, and Sarah got a bow and arrow.  Both of them have been enjoying practicing their shooting skills. Joshua and Grace sometimes get a chance to shoot too, and even Hannah had a turn this time!  Joshua likes shooting with a slingshot too!
