Our new school table!

During Christmas break, Dan started working on a school table for our living room. He got the boards from an old homestead, and worked hard at sanding and planing them down, and then building a nice table for us. He really did a nice job, and enjoyed doing it too!
So, here's a picture of how our school area used to look. We used a card table to work at, which was very frustrating for everyone, because the card table was constantly being bumped and wobbled!

And here's how it looks now with our nice, new table! The table is really quite large, but we were able to arrange the room, so that there is actually more space than before! And it looks soooo much better than the card table!

And the best thing is, everyone can comfortably work at the table, without bumping or crowding each other!

I lost my first loose tooth! (by Hannah)

Loose tooth!
It fell out!
On March 3rd, 2014, I lost my first loose tooth!  It happened right after I got out of bed!  It feels good to have it out of my mouth.  When my loose tooth was in my mouth, it felt uncomfortable when I laid down.

On My Heart

I just wanted to let you know that I've decided to start a new blog, along with my mom, where we will share things that the Lord has laid on our hearts, things He is teaching us, and things He is doing in our lives. We'll also share favorite recipes and ideas. At times, I may invite others to share on this blog as well. You can find it here at On My Heart. I will still continue to put pictures of our family on this blog!

A very sweet baby :)

Joshua's starting to enjoy being on his tummy. He hasn't rolled over yet,
but I don't think it will be too much longer!

He's so cute that I just kept on taking pictures! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a really special Valentine's Day this year. My sweet husband surprised me (and our children!) with roses at lunch time on Valentine's Day. He had asked one of his students to pick the roses up in town, so I had no idea of what he had planned! We also had a special meal in the evening together.
