The first week in August, we took some time as a family and had a staycation. Dan had finished up working the construction job that he had this summer, and decided to take a week off before beginning to get things ready for the school year. It was a wonderful week! We went to the fair, had a hot dog roast, went swimming at a friend's pool, and went to the dinosaur museum.
